- What does it mean if I’m told that I am in a ‘satisfactory’ or ‘Fair’ coverage area?
It means that you may sometimes experience weak reception as we only have fewer towers in those areas. If you experience reception issues even in a fair coverage area where you are using CDMA device, you could use a signal booster such as Airave to fix weak signal issues.
- Is coverage affected by the device type?
Yes. Certain devices and phones have stronger antennas compared to others. That may affect the coverage and signal strength.
- I'm currently with another network carrier. Will I have same coverage if I move to Pix?
You should check the coverage map or third party coverage maps like RootMetrics, Sensorly, and Open Signal to know more.
- Can I sign up with Pix if I am in a no coverage area?
There are certain areas in the United States where Pix does not offer services. You may not be able to sign up with us if you live in an area outside of our coverage.
